About
Our Ship
Its
Size and Proportions are Classic.
Its Food and Service Are Exceptional.
Its Itineraries Are Perfect.
Stand alongside the Regal Empress.
With its sleek lines and gleaming white
hull, it's presence alone will take your
breath away.
Step aboard and you'll discover a cruise
ship that seems to have come from
another age. A more gracious time, when
travelers sought the special beauty and
tranquility that only a classic cruise
vessel could provide.
The Regal Empress carries only 900
passengers. But it carries them in such
perfect comfort, its size quickly
becomes irrelevant. Here you'll find
abundant personal space in an atmosphere
that manages to blend exciting new
experiences with familiar comforts.
You'll find services and amenities that
seem somehow to be more accommodating
and more personal. You'll find a ship
where everybody knows your name. And of
course, you'll find all the sensory
pleasures you expect. Lavish
seven-course meals. Fascinating ports of
call. As much entertainment and
nightlife as you could possibly want.
And so many shipboard activities, you'd
have to cruise for weeks to sample them
all.
The Regal
Empress.
It's a beautiful
cruising ship.

Activities
Only
If You Don't Stop...
To Catch Your Breath!
From the moment your day begins until
you turn in for the night, you face
tempting recreational choices:
You can do everything, do a little, or
do nothing at all.
The fact is, there's so much to do
aboard the Regal Empress, there isn't
enough
time in the day to enjoy it all.
There's shuffleboard and swimming, of
course. Or try your luck with an
afternoon of bingo.
Or get physical. Drop in on one of our
jazzercise sessions. Work out for a
while in our superbly equipped exercise
room or jog on our seaside sports deck.
Or
just take it easy. Go for a leisurely
stroll on the beautiful teak decks. Gaze
at the sapphire blue vistas and become
one with the rhythm of the water. Or
stop by the ship's library and pick out
a juicy best seller or one of the dozens
of card and board games.
Still too strenuous? Then we suggest
serious relaxation. A lazy afternoon
working on your tan on a poolside
chaise. A soak in one of our bubbling
whirlpools. And finally, a professional
massage to soothe away any lingering
traces of stress and concern.
All this plus a daily calendar of
special events, presentations, pastimes
and amusements, enough to make you dizzy
with choices.
And we haven't even mentioned the night
life.

Discover
An Appetite You Didn't Know You Had.
Maybe
it's all that fresh sea air.
Maybe it's the wonderful aromas created
by our Regal Empress chefs. But
something is causing your mind to
wander, as though your next dining
experience can't come quickly enough.
We've heard that many times before.
Because as you'd expect on a world-class
cruising ship, food service aboard the
Regal Empress is nothing short of
sensational.
The highly trained chefs of the Regal
Empress bring you exquisitely prepared
breakfasts, lunches and dinners, all
served in our elegantly appointed dining
room. You'll find all your old
favorites, plus culinary temptations
destined to become new favorites.
Prime beef. New Zealand lamb. Fresh
seafood. Straight from the fisherman's
nets.
It's all on the menu. Along with
spectacular pasta and specialty entrees,
fresh-baked breads and sinfully rich
desserts.
Your meals can be as simple or as
sumptuous as you'd like. If lighter fare
is your preference, you'll find
specialty pizzas and sandwiches in the
casual shipboard pizzeria. And the new
La Trattoria offers still more choices
with continental breakfasts, lunches,
buffet dinners and tantalizing
late-night snacks.
Even when the clock strikes twelve, the
food service doesn't stop. Because that
signals the start of our lavish midnight
buffet and your last chance of the day
to sample still more of the creations of
our talented chefs.
See, you do have an appetite.

Nightlife
It
Can't Be Bedtime.
The Night is Still Young.
If
you thought the daylight hours kept you
hopping, wait till the sun goes down.
Because a full day aboard the Regal
Empress is invariably followed by a full
evening.

As darkness falls, you can feel the tempo
changing as you and your shipmates get
ready for an evening out. Dress up if you
like. And if you don't? Don't. Either way,
an exciting night on the town awaits just
beyond your door. Begin your evening with
a stop at the ship's piano bar, where you
can enjoy timeless keyboard standards
accompanied by your favorite drink or
cocktail.
Or move directly to the show lounge for
our new, star-studded revue. With its high
energy, dazzling costumes and show tune
repertoire, this brand new Las Vegas style
production will have you rocking in your
seat.

And since the Regal Empress is also a
floating casino, a little gaming may be in
order. You can try your luck following the
bouncing ball on the roulette wheel. Or
the bouncing dice at the craps table. Or
try to beat the dealer at the blackjack
tables. It's all here. Along with enough
slot machines to give your gambling arm a
good workout.
Isn't
it bedtime yet? Not quite. Not until
you've taken a spin around the ship's
discotheque. With its high-tech sound
system and disco accouterments, it's a
night spot that rocks well into the wee
hours.
And now, finally, it's bedtime.
